The Conceit of Technology: Essays on Politics

Description:

A monograph critically examining the relationship between technology and politics. The book begins with an exploration of the temporal and spatial conditions of political judgment and action, and proceeds to consider the manner in which technology - as media, sites, and the setting of judgment and action - bears of these conditions. Research for this project was funded by a SSHRC Initiative on the New Economy Grant. Expected completion: Spring 2010.
