"Do we need Community Media?"

Tuesday, March 9th - 7-9pm at Presse Café on Milton and Parc. (map)

With guest speaker Dr. Darin Barney.

Barney is an author and a Professor at McGill University. His academic focuses include the philosophy of technology, media and communication theory, and media and democracy. Barney is also a member of the radio CKUT board of directors.

Café Conversations are presented by SSMU, the Community Action Toolkit and the Milton-Parc Citizens Committee.

Café Conversations are inclusive evenings of discussion in your neighbourhood. These evenings are opportunities for neighbours in Milton-Parc to informally investigate thought-provoking and relevant issues through conversation. Beginning with an expert guest-speaker, the evening's reflections will then flow into an open discussion, nourishing both the intellect and the community.
