Professors Darin Barney, Carrie Rentschler, and Jonathan Sterne have contributed to the June 2012 special issue of the online inter-disciplinary publication WiJournal of Mobile Media on the student protests that have been dominating the Quebec political scene since February.

Out of the Mouths of Casseroles
is a collection of scholarly reflections on the ongoing student strike, the movement's adoption of cacerolazo (a popular form of protesting by banging on pots and pans), and the Quebec government's imposition of the emergency law, Bill 78.
