Professor Mary Hunter (Media@McGill member) and Dr. Tamar Tembeck (Media@McGill Academic Associate) will present a joint paper at a Hospital / Hôpital IHSP 2015 Conference, a two-day conference organized by the Instititue for Health and Social Policy, October 1 and 2, 2015, at the McCord Museum, Montreal.

Their paper entitled "From Queen Victoria to Sausage Pants: Making Space for Art at the RVH and MUHC"  will "examine art as a relational interface in order to critique hospital arts programming that focuses primarily on making patients, visitors, and staff 'feel good' [using] a series of historical and contemporary examples related to artworks at the Royal Victoria Hospital and the Glen site."
